I love photography and traveling. I have been lucky enough to do both. I would like to share my site and world with you. Join me traveling in our advent

Travel, touring, adventure, & nature. If it has to do with traveling I'm there. I like finding those spots that not everyone knows about. I have traveled by bus, car, plane, horse and foot. Have camped, hotels and couch surfed. I started this page for photography. I'm now getting inquires for me to join others on their adventure. Road trippin on the 199. in the Smith River National Recreation area, outside of Crescent City. I love stopping at signs. This stop was with Margaret Kelly. The sign says Botanical Trail, need a break. Stop and See Darlingtonia Californios or Pitcher plant.

Covid has kept me home. Zoo opened up time to spend some time locally.

Going back to my road trip in May 2020. We started off in Bullhead City. Our first stop was Zion NP. This is my go to park close enough to spend a weekend. The Next stop Bryce Np it is just about a 1 1/2 away rom Zion. This to me is a beautiful park but it is one of those stop and go park. I have only done a couple of hikes here. I have never really spent more then a day here. It is a park everyone should see.

Time to see what I have seen at Zion Np in Springdale AZ. We were locked down for 2 months and had to get out and explore. No one was in the park so it was easy to isolate. We walked to the Riverwalk most of the other hikes were closed down. Saw a few dear and birds. Enjoyed the mountains and the green of the valley.

Still trying to catch up with past road trips. This time you can see what I have seen in Crescent City Ca. When I go to Crescent City I have to have lunch at the Chart House. Which is also one of the best places to take photos of the Sea lions. They are on one of the old docks. Back in the hay day. when you were allowed to fish. This area would be filled with small boats including my dads and my grandfathers. They would be going out for rock cod, salmon and of course the crab. I miss those days with my dad and my grandpa. Sitting around the table eating crab right out of the pot. With a pressure cooker full of Salmon. I have always called this place home.

Time to see what I have seen. Minor's Historic District. It is right outside the entrance of the Gran Teton. I am still trying to catch up on photos I took while on our Road trip to Gran Teton.

Menor's Ferry once belonged to William D. Menor who came to Jackson Hole in 1894, taking up a homestead beside the Snake River. Here he constructed a ferryboat that became a vital crossing for the early settlers of Jackson Hole Valley.

This adventure takes me down the interstate 5. First stop was a little disappointing. You seen the signs that say Tule
Elk refuge. While I finally stopped. If you need a lunch break that is fine. If you want to see Elk you will be disappointed. Second stop would have bee a great place to go for photos if I had gotten there a little earlier. My next stop is great if you like birds.

Time to see what I have seen. Zion Mountain Ranch famous for their Bison. Lonnie Martinez Sr.and Siboney Martinez joined me for this adventure. Funniest thing happened there. Someone in our party did not realize that when it says Bison Burger that yes. The animals we are watching while we eat are Bison. Let just say someone did not finish their burger.

I had a great trip through the northwest. I will be updating my site. So much to see and so much to do I could have spent a month in the northwest.
