This anniversary trip is all about slowing down and soaking up the magic of the Amalfi Coast.

They’ll begin in Rome — because have you even been to Italy if you skip Rome? Think the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel, and all the iconic Italian moments.

Then it’s off to Ischia…an island off the coast of Italy where relaxation takes center stage. Thermal spa days, slow mornings, incredible food, and scenic hiking from Bosco di Zaro to Punta Spaccarello for this adventure-loving couple.

The idea started in 2020, but like many things that year, it took a little longer to become reality.

40 years of marriage deserves something extraordinary… and this anniversary journey through Italy is exactly that. 🇮🇹🥂

First stop: beautiful Taormina, Sicily — where they’ll spend a full week settling into la dolce vita at the stunning UNA Hotels Capotaormina. And because Sicily always deserves a little adventure…

They’ll head off on an unforgettable private Mount Etna experience — exploring Europe’s highest active volcano by 4x4 through lunar landscapes, volcanic craters, ancient forests, and lava fields before ending the day exactly how it should end in Italy: wine in the vineyards beneath Mount Etna. 🍷

After soaking up a week of Sicilian sunshine and slow living, it’s off to Rome — where the second half of the trip shifts into full “Italian highlights” mode. 🇮🇹

Last Thursday was one of those days that filled my cup in every possible way ✨

I had the honor of receiving a 2026 Achievement Award at the Providence Business News Business Women Awards — and getting to spend the afternoon with my sister Kristina Truppi Truss and my best friend Alanna Bruno made it even more special. 💛

There’s something really inspiring about being in a room full of smart, driven, supportive women...especially right here in our little tiny state of Rhode Island. So much talent, leadership, creativity, and heart packed into one space.

I loved reconnecting with old friends like Lisa Shorr (Shorr Success) and Jessica Fox (Secure Future Tech) and celebrating all the amazing things women are building here.

Great conversations, inspiring stories, lots of laughs… and yes, probably a little too much wine for a Thursday afternoon 😉🥂

Feeling very grateful for the women beside me and the community around me.
