Seeing The World Seeing the World follows Tammy and James as they turn a trawler into a home, a business hub, and a gateway to adventure. We are James, Tammy and Ray.

From hands-on refits to cruising the Great Loop and beyond. We are embarking on an adventure of a lifetime. One sailor and one newbie, and our son, we have just purchased a C&C 37R. She needs a lot of work and I need a lot of training, lol. Will we be ready to set sail?

OK all... we need YOUR help!!! We have vent covers that go over these holes and we are trying to decide what color to paint them.

The top of the boat is Hatteras White and the bottom is flag blue - so we camouflage them with the flag blue or make them an accent pieces with the hatteras white?

We are making progress... one coat of Hatteras White and one coat of Flag Blue... next we sand and repeat.

But... at the end of day, once we are done is going to look wonderful!

We are paint the top Hatteras White and the bottom flag blue.

We will have a full video once we are on the paint we used and the application process

🚢 As most of you already know...We bought a boat. A BIG boat. And we have absolutely zero regrets. 😂⚓

Since March, we've been the owners of a beautiful 46-foot Trawler — and we've been deep in projects ever since, turning her into our future home on the water!

Here's the dream:
✅ Fix her up
✅ Move aboard
✅ Tackle the Great Loop in early 2027 🌊

The Great Loop is a bucket-list adventure for boaters — a ~6,000-mile route through the inland waterways of the eastern U.S., the Gulf, and beyond. And we're doing it!

We're documenting every step — the wins, the fails, the beautiful sunsets, and everything in between. Come follow the adventure!
