✈️🛂 TRAVEL TIP TUESDAY — IS YOUR PASSPORT READY FOR SPRING BREAK 2027?

Spring Break and Easter vacations may seem months away, but NOW is the time to check those expiration dates!

🌎 Did you know your passport can still be valid and NOT meet the requirements for international travel?

Some countries require your passport to be valid for at least SIX MONTHS BEYOND your travel dates!

Think about that for a minute…

📅 Planning a March 2027 vacation, but your passport expires in February? Don’t wait until February to renew it!

Even a passport expiring in August 2027 could be a problem for certain destinations.

Passport renewals take time, and processing times don’t include mailing. Why risk your vacation when you can take care of it now?

🛂 AND WHILE YOU’RE CHECKING… WHAT ABOUT GLOBAL ENTRY?

✅ Membership is valid for 5 years.

✅ You can renew up to 1 year before expiration.

✅ Renew before your membership expires, and you may continue using your benefits for up to 24 months while your renewal is pending.

When we returned from Germany last month, Global Entry made getting back into the United States SO quick and easy!

After a long international flight, I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that convenience!

💡 ONE MORE TIP: If you renew your passport, remember to update your passport information in your Global Entry account.

Your passport and Global Entry membership are two things worth checking TODAY, not the week before vacation!

🚨🛳️ NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE — SCAM ALERT!
If you have an upcoming Norwegian cruise, please pay attention!
Passengers are reporting very convincing emails threatening to cancel their reservations unless they immediately verify their payment information.
The scary part? These emails reportedly contain REAL reservation details, making them look legitimate!
⚠️ IMPORTANT: As of October 11, 2026, Norwegian Cruise Line has not publicly confirmed a security breach. How scammers obtained passengers' booking information remains unknown.
🌎 And this warning goes beyond Norwegian!
Similar scams have targeted travelers using other cruise lines, airlines, hotels, and vacation providers. Just because an email contains your actual booking information doesn't mean it's legitimate!
📞 If something doesn't look right, contact your travel advisor or call the number on your ORIGINAL booking confirmation or invoice. Don't rely on phone numbers found through a Google search, as scammers can place fake customer-service numbers in search results, too!

✈️ HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS WHEN WE WERE JUST THERE?! 🤯

We just visited Basel, Switzerland 🇨🇭 AND Mulhouse, France 🇫🇷 — and I just discovered a pretty wild travel fact about the area!

There’s an airport serving both cities that is unlike any other in the world.

✈️ EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg is located entirely on French soil, but it’s jointly operated by France and Switzerland.

And here’s the wild part…

🇫🇷 One exit takes you into France
🇨🇭 Another takes you toward Switzerland

The terminal has separate French and Swiss sectors, and there’s even a border crossing inside the airport.

Oh — and it has THREE airport codes: BSL, MLH and EAP. 😳

Every time I come home from a trip, I swear I discover something else about a place we were JUST visiting. 😂

🚨 Well… Disney did a Disney. 😂🏰

Walt Disney World ticket prices just went up again.

A 1-day ticket can now climb as high as $229 depending on the park and date. 😳

👉 But you can still get a 1-day ticket for as low as $119 on select dates.

Disney uses date and park-based pricing, so WHEN you visit AND WHICH PARK you visit can make a pretty big difference in what you pay.

If Disney is on your 2027 vacation list, being flexible with your dates could save you some money.

Because apparently even pixie dust has inflation. ✨😂

🚢 WAIT… THEY MAKE AN FDA-CLEARED ONE?!

I knew about those little motion-sickness wristbands you can wear on a cruise, but I honestly didn’t know there were electronic anti-nausea wristbands that were FDA-cleared medical devices. 👀

Prime Big Deal Days sent me down the Amazon rabbit hole again 😂 and I found this EmeTerm rechargeable anti-nausea wristband.

It’s designed to help relieve nausea and vomiting from motion sickness using electrical stimulation at the wrist — without medication or the drowsiness that can come with some motion-sickness medicines.

I don’t get seasick, so I’ve never needed one myself, but as a Travel Advisor this definitely caught my attention because I know seasickness keeps some people from even considering a cruise.

Reserved seats? Great.
Sitting together? Not necessarily. 😂

Here’s one I learned firsthand traveling through Europe…

When you reserve seats on a European train, don’t assume seat numbers that look like they belong together actually ARE together.

We had reserved seats. ✔️
We had seat numbers. ✔️
We thought we were all set. ✔️

Then we got on the train. 👀😂

🚆 TRAVEL TIP: Check the actual seat map before you finish booking.

Make sure your seats are:
👉 In the same carriage
👉 Actually next to each other
👉 Facing the direction you want, if that matters to you

European train travel was one of my favorite parts of our trip—and also one of those things where you learn a LOT as you go.

Consider this one lesson you don’t have to learn the hard way. 😉😂
