Calling all artists!

The Destination Center and UVA-Wise are launching a new outdoor education program, High K**b Explorers, and we need a logo to represent the program!

A $500 prize will be awarded to the winning logo. Submission deadline: Friday, Aug. 7.

Join the Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards on June 6th from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Keokee Lake for a trail work volunteer opportunity to celebrate National Trails Day!

🥾Volunteers should bring water, snacks/lunch, long pants and sturdy footwear such as hiking boots. Hard hats, gloves and eye protection will be provided.

We're less than two months away from the inaugural Red Eft 5.5 Miler on Saturday, July 25!

We were lucky to have UVa-Wise graphic design students create the race logo as part of a class project. Thanks to all the students that created designs for the race! The winning logo was designed by Oz Moore.
