Watching Willie Giest this morning (channel 4)
where they showed a little girl receiving first Holy Communion, and is then given the blood of Christ, the child drinks the entire chalice, (which is why it made the news, a lighthearted moment)Willie then remarks about this precious sacrament saying it’s “symbolic” he was doing a good job up until the word “SYMBOLIC”. I wish I could correct him!
