Did you know Magic Kingdom holds a Flag Retreat Ceremony every single day? 🇺🇸✨

At 5:00 PM in Town Square (right at the start of Main Street, U.S.A.), Cast Members, the Main Street Philharmonic, Dapper Dans, and the Security Honor Guard come together to retire the American flag for the evening.

Each day, a veteran or active-duty service member in the park is selected as the guest of honor to participate. ♥️🥹

The ceremony includes the Pledge of Allegiance, a trumpet fanfare, and the lowering of the flag while The Star-Spangled Banner plays.

It’s beautiful, heartfelt, and such a special moment of gratitude and respect that’s easy to miss if you’re just walking by.

Are you Team Costume or Team Regular Attire? 🎃👕

Either way, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is the perfect place to get into the spooky spirit, whether you go all out or keep it low-key with a festive tee.

Greg and I have done both! Some years it’s full-blown costumes (because let’s be real, how often do grown-ups get to dress up anymore?!), and other times we keep it casual and still have a blast.

🎉 Fun fact: Greg’s birthday is actually on Halloween, so we’re basically experts at celebrating spooky season right.
