Hello Lazy Dazers!

Just wanted to send out a quick note showing the gate entrance… some are driving past and having to turn around. We’ve had 6 Rigs arrive so far for our Fundraiser. $25 a night for dry camping and $30 for power; any donations are also appreciated in lieu of attendance. BUT! We’d obviously rather have you here in person! Arrive anytime this week / weekend. Check your club email for the address or give me a call. See you all soon!

The June Caravan is almost here! 06/04 to 06/08 (early arrivals permitted Sunday 06/01) This is a fundraiser, so stay as long or short as you want! This location is in Northeast San Diego County at 4,000 feet so the weather will be delightful! Hello Lazy Daze Fam!

Regarding the June 4th - 8th Caravan; Just wanted to update you to our new location, our property in NorthEast San Diego County.

We are no longer going to Launch Point for two reasons. 1) Lack of Interest (less than the amount needed for a discount) and 2) they supposedly decided to perform area and tree maintenance where we were going to camp.

Since it's too short of notice to find another campground, Dave and I have decided to do a "Harvest Host" type of Caravan doubling as a Fundraiser. As you may be aware, we have not had a way to raise money for the club in several years. This is the only way we can maintain daily door prizes, Birthday & Anniversary gifts and 1 nights free camping.

We have 25 acres here (see the few pictures attached) so there's plenty of space to park, lots of shade, water, and at least 6+ places to plug in if you require electricity for medical reasons. We are at 4000 feet so the temperature's will remain in the low 80's.

If you bring your tow car or 4x4, there's a few places to visit in the area. Borrego Springs is down the hill, the town of Jullian and its famous pies are a short drive away as well as Palomar Mountain and Lake Henshaw.

We intend to run this as a regular caravan with similar activities and all attendees will be given the same credit as in other months. Also, we are aware of the distance (similar to driving to Stagecoach or Butterfield) so, you can come anytime you like Sunday to Sunday to make it worth the drive. If you are unable to make it, but still want to donate any amount, we will happily accept.

It's going to be a great time to catch up with friends, enjoy the perfect weather and the surrounding beauty that is here. Please come if you can!

Good evening Lazy Daze Fam! Please read to the end. I need to clarify a few things regarding the upcoming April Caravan. We are aware that 04/20 is Easter Sunday. That is why you can come anytime between 04/13 to 04/19… we have changed the schedule to reflect this and so the “actual” Caravan with scheduled activities will be from Tuesday 04/15 to Friday 04/19 so that those who need to leave Saturday morning to return home for Church activities can do so. We will have a smaller Potluck and movie for those remaining on Saturday. So, If you are interested in attending; please contact me Christine Harris Nordström on my cell at 951-795-2048. “First Timers” are always welcome to join. Here is the Activity sheet and Weather Forecast for the upcoming Caravan Lake Skinner Campground Group Camping Area (see pic below for the correct location) 02/25 through 03/02 Tuesday afternoon to Sunday morning. Reservations are only available from me, Christine Harris Nordström as the rest of Lake Skinner is closed for renovations.
