FRC Team 3242 Spreading the LIGHT of FIRST and all of it's opportunities! From organization, communication, community actions and spirit, this team is executing their vision!

Professional in their person, their dress, and presentation, three team members gave these Judge’s a “WOW” experience. The quality of their presentation, both written and oral, was better than many we’ve seen from seasoned professional! They have no boundaries on their imagination or actions:

- They assisted disabled children with their Exceptional Ed program. learning much from them while teachi

ng and helping them build their VEX robot

- They mentor a local Lego team

- The hosted a statewide Florida FLL competition

- They convinced their Principal and School Board to support their program. Their enthusiasm, Gracious Professionalism, and embodiment of FIRST principles radiate from their smiles and discussion. Their outreach knows no borders, even reaching into Cuba to provide supplies to a very disadvantaged school. The judges can just IMAGINE a world made of people from this team, who keep their eyes on the stars and their feet on the ground. IMAGINE a world where a second year team can soar to the heights of being the 2011 Florida Regional Chairman’s Award winner! The Florida Regional Chairman’s Award Winner is Team #3242 the Wildcats!
