One common mode of transit along the Boardwalk is the tram, which will run from NOON to MIDNIGHT this summer. There are thankfully more tram drivers this year. Bicycles will be allowed on the Boardwalk until noon. The only exception is that trams will begin operations at 10 a.m. for some festivals including Springfest and Sunfest.

The tram costs $4 per ride.

For Springfest, Memorial Day Weekend, the OC Air Show, July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, and Sunfest, Ocean City Resident Senior Bus Pass holders receive $1 off the regular Tram fare. On all other dates, Ocean City Resident Senior Bus Pass holders are entitled to free Tram rides until 4 p.m. After 4 p.m. $1 off the regular Tram fare applies.

The ride-all-day package will unfortunately not be offered this summer or next.
