Safari Snow Removal

Safari Snow Removal Serving the Middletown, Odessa and Townsend area since 2009. We specialize in residential snow remova

My name is Dave Schulz and I'm the owner of Safari Snow Removal. In the winter of 2009
my best friend and I decided that we could provide the residents of the M.O.T area with
unmatched snow removal services. With a couple snow blowers, an ATV with a plow and
some shovels we started Safari Snow Removal. That season we had 2-3 Storms drop over 2 ft
of snow and our phone rang like crazy!

We may see some snow moving through our area tonight into Saturday Morning.

This was the series of snow storms that officially started Safari Snow Removal. Back then, I was clearing driveways with a snowblower and ATV with a plow. We had back to back 24" snowstorms that year.

Looks like we aren't going to get much snow this time around.

Widespread snowfall accumulation of 1-3" is expected across much of the area overnight through midday Sunday. Snow will end from west to east throughout the day. Roads may become slippery in spots, so use caution if traveling. Enjoy, ! ☃️❄️

Here is the latest update on the storm headed our way

⚠️🌨️🌬️ A significant winter storm is expected to impact the region Friday night through Saturday. Heavy snow, strong winds, tidal flooding, and low wind chills are all anticipated. Wind gusts of 35-50 mph are possible area wide. The heavy snow combined with strong winds may cause blowing and drifting of snow and very low visibilities, especially near the coasts where the strongest winds are expected. Our latest snowfall forecast is in the graphic below. Visit weather.gov/phi for your local forecast.

We have issued a Winter Weather Advisory for parts of the area tonight into Thursday. Rain will change to snow around 7-8 am, and last through the early afternoon tomorrow. While not a heavy snowfall, timing could lead to a slow morning commute. ❄️

Keeping an 👁 on the weekend!

Good morning! Quieter weather is in store for today but overall the weather pattern remains quite active. The next system looks to bring rain changing to snow Wednesday night into Thursday but any snow accumulation looks to be fairly minor...most likely under an inch. A more significant storm could impact the area with snow Friday night into Saturday but at this point the system's track and impacts on the area remain uncertain. If it stays mostly out to sea, we'll see little to no snow while a track closer to the coast could result in significant snow.

Please follow us for updates and remember you can always get the latest forecast for your location at weather.gov/phi and find many more products here as well! Have a great day!

The weather pattern remains active with a couple of systems to watch through the end of the week. We do squeeze in a warmer day Wednesday, with a lot of uncertainty by the end of the week.

01/14/2022

I've been watching the weather reports all week about this upcoming storm. It seems like the track it's currently on will not impact our area with significant snow. If that changes, I'll be sure to post an update.
