Had this ol girl for better than 20 yrs. About 10 years ago the but section fell apart! Being on the river with only my carpentry tools and a tube of caulk. I caulked it! While fishing the last6 months it came apart again! This GL2 has probably caught more fish than any rod I own and today my daughter and I sat down and re-epoxy everything back together properly. with new running gear and line maybe my grandchild will put a few more notches in her belt!?
