TIP 7
CONSIDER INCENTIVES TO TAKE A LATER FLIGHT
When flights are overbooked, airlines may offer travel credits or vouchers to passengers willing to take a later flight. Depending on the situation, those credits can add up and help pay for a future trip.
If you're offered the option, ask whether the compensation is being provided as a travel voucher, miles, or cash credit. Cash credits are often more flexible and easier to use than airline miles.
Of course, make sure the later flight still works for your plans before volunteering your seat!
