Funny how ONE trip can change the direction of your whole life. ✈️

My grandma and grandpa took my cousins, Josh, and me on a cruise the weekend I graduated college. 🎓🚢

None of us had experienced a vacation like that before, and Norwegian Cruise Line was our home for the week.

We explored, laughed, ate…and discovered you could order MORE THAN ONE meal at dinner. 😂

Listen, we were young and this was VERY exciting information.

Sorry, Grandma. She was NOT impressed with us. 🤪🤣

And here's the crazy part…

This was actually the FIRST group trip I planned and booked.

I had absolutely NO idea at the time that planning trips for groups would eventually become part of my future as a travel agent and Karismatic Adventures. ❤️✈️

Looking back now, it's kind of wild. What felt like planning a fun graduation cruise for my family was actually a tiny glimpse into what I'd end up doing years later.

So today, hug your grandparents if you still have them. Take the pictures. Take the trip. Make the memories. ❤️

And if you have a 2027 graduate coming up 🎓…maybe their graduation gift should be a memory instead of more stuff.

There. I said it. 👀

Personally? I LOVE them.

Give me food, drinks, entertainment, a beautiful resort, a pool, and a beach without having to think about what every little thing costs once I arrive. 🙌🏾

But maybe you're the traveler who wants to leave every morning, explore local neighborhoods, eat somewhere different every night, and barely see your hotel.

That's okay too!

The whole point of stress-free travel isn't booking what everyone else says is “the best.” It's figuring out what fits YOU.

So let's settle it…

Not a work conference.
Not a business trip where you squeezed in one fun afternoon.
Not answering emails from the beach while telling everyone you're “off.”
Not bringing the laptop…just in case. 👀

Traveling for work has made me realize there’s a huge difference between going somewhere and actually taking a vacation.

VACATION THIS OR THAT:

🌅 Early flight OR 🌙 late flight?

🚢 Cruise OR 🌴 all-inclusive?

💦 Swim-up room OR 🌊 ocean view?

🍹 Resort food OR 🍴 exploring local restaurants?

🤿 Excursions OR 😴 absolutely NOTHING?

🧳 Carry-on only OR “49.9 pounds…PERFECT!” 😂

For me? Give me the early flight, all-inclusive, swim-up room, local food AND an excursion. I apparently don't follow directions. 🤣

But here's the best part about traveling with me: we can hang out OR do completely separate activities. 😂 You want to go on the excursion? Let's go! You want to stay at the pool while I disappear for the day? See you at dinner! The choice is yours.

My clients made it to Épinal and are officially on the train, ready for their European adventure to begin!

After arriving in Paris yesterday, today kicks off an incredible journey through Europe filled with scenic train rides, beautiful cities, and some serious bucket-list moments. 🇫🇷🇨🇭🇦🇹

Their adventure includes Switzerland with experiences like Mt. Pilatus, Jungfraujoch, and Gornergrat, plus stops along the way before flying home from Zurich. 🏔️🚆

This is exactly why I love planning trips that are more than just one destination. Now I get to follow along from home and wait for the pictures! 😍

Okay airports…we need to talk about SLEEP PODS. 👀✈️😴

Some airports have private sleep pods or mini sleep spaces where you can actually close the door, stretch out, and REST during a long layover.

And after spending more hours than I’d like to admit sitting in airports…I GET IT. 😂

Long international connection? Delay? Overnight layover?

Suddenly paying for a few hours of peace, quiet, and actual sleep doesn't sound so crazy.

Because there comes a point when using your backpack as a pillow and trying to sleep across three airport chairs just isn't cutting it. 🤣

So I need to know…

Plot twist: the travel agent is VERY excited to stay home today. 😂✈️

After traveling, conferences, airports, and constantly being on the go, my Labor Day agenda is pretty simple:

❤️ Time with Josh and Dad
🐾 Love on Jasper and Roxie
🏡 Relax at HOME
✈️ And preferably go absolutely nowhere 😂

Well…almost off duty because one of my clients leaves TODAY for an incredible Switzerland rail adventure! 🇨🇭🚆

This is a true bucket-list trip with Switzerland, scenic trains, mountain adventures and more. Their first stop? Paris! 🇫🇷

So while I'm relaxing with the family, I'm also waiting for that message every travel advisor loves:

“We landed in Paris!” 🙌🏾✈️

I LOVE traveling and helping people see the world, but there’s something about being home with your people while knowing someone else is starting an adventure you helped create.
