We ran into a unique situation when designing this kitchen. The existing windows sills were lower than countertop height. Instead of replacing the windows and having to patch in the exterior brick and sill we dropped the cabinetry down and ran the quartz countertop into the window to create the sill. This also occurs at the coffee bar area. Both sides tie right in to the white oak corner pantry. PC:

When we bought our house a year and a half ago we didn’t have any functioning bathrooms. No kitchen. No laundry room. The house is now fully functioning with exception of a few plumbing fixtures. This 3/4 bath was just studs and dirt piles when we bought the house. I had forgotten what it used to look like until I looked back today. Makes all the hard work worth it.

After/Before- we haven’t had use of those space since we purchased our house a year and a half ago. There were holes in the ceiling from demo and rough ins. We’d still track dirt up the stairs from when we redid all the plumbing. We finally have a finished space to enjoy
The original square panels were actually stained mahogany. At some point someone painted them white. And didn’t do a very good job of it 😢

Added a little more birch to this beautiful space. We trimmed this house a couple years ago. Added some white birch soffits last year and finished the birch fireplace flue surround this week. I stained the birch with a thinned out white stain. It keeps the natural look of raw wood. I love all the wood and natural light in this space. 😍

This entire kitchen had to be rewired. We incorporated lighting and plug mold into the cabinetry and floating shelves. The client didn’t want any switches or receptacles in the backsplash. All of the can lights and pendant lights were moved.
My friend Brandon at Static Electric did an awesome job and making everything work even when I only gave him a 1/16” to get the plug mold in. 😂 Look him up if you’re in the Omaha area. His company is new, but he’s been in the field since 2005.

We sized this island to fit a full slab of quartz. We used a local company, Martins Countertops, for everything. They were able to get “grain” matched slabs for the waterfall ends. The top is 56” x 128”. Quartz is LG Calacatta Sol
The back side of the island has storage. The panels all have Blum Tip-on hardware. Just push the door and the pop open

The walnut vanities are almost finished. We wanted to make them look like a mid century piece of furniture. All that is left is to skin the toe kick and add some tapered legs. We were able to salvage the hardware from some old cabinets in the house. They are most likely original from 1957

This hallway has been one of my favorite parts of the house since we first looked looked at it.

The first photo is before we started work on the house. A contractor owned it and had started a lot of work on the house. The other two were taken today after getting the windows cased

We removed the torn paper, the handrail, replaced the windows, added more lighting, repaired the cracked drywall, and removed the random mirror

The new Pella windows and new trim really clean up the hall. Can’t wait to get the rest of the trim done, paint and get those floors refinished!
