Drove to western Nebraska for a Nebraska Bass Nation tournament and The Sticks - I80 West tournament yesterday. I found solid fish in practice and was confident I would find them in the tournament. I lost 3 BIGS on a buzzbait in the first hour of the morning and never recovered. I caught tons of fish just nothing of any decent size. Also had a photo rejected for my identifier only being partially visible. Lots of little mistakes that I need to learn from. Not happy but on to the next one

Got on a pretty solid bladed jig and swim jig bite this morning, after the storms rolled through. Caught them on a 1/2oz bladed jig in bone color with a green shad freeloader as a trailer. Was targeting shallow reeds and laydowns on rocky banks. Picked up a few later in the day targeting similar stuff, on a 3/8oz swim jig paired w d-bomb in silver/white combo.

It was a pretty tough bite for the Lincoln Road Runner tournament hosted by the The Sticks. I got off to a hot start in the morning, catching 2 quality fish in the first 15 minutes. The rest of the day was a slow grind and hard to piece the puzzle together. A late day move got me a small limit, but a limit at least. Missed a few key fish but that's the nature of the game!

I got 8th out of 30 anglers, good enough to keep my goal of getting all top 10s alive

Another Chungus. This one came on a half oz jig paired with a broncobug in tilapia magic. Caught several bigs on this combo this year
Got a few good ones on a football jig as well

Got a few more Master Anglers today and put up over 95" for my best 5 fish

Also battling the flu currently 🤧 not sure the fresh air and sunshine helped any but catching some bigs definitely did

It was a windy and cold one for the Clash at Carter. Despite the weather there was some really solid bags by the end of the day. I had a decent day but spent much of it battling the wind and trying to maneuver. I should have stayed in my starting area where the quality fish were but the wind scared me into returning closer to the ramp. Still a good day with a 5th place finish!

Congrats to the top 3 catching some nice ones!

Tournament #1 of the Year kicks off tomorrow morning 6:30am. The Top 10 in Angler of the Year standings from last season compete in a winner take all $1,000 first place prize event, with Side Pot and Big Bass checks to be earned as well.
Hoping for a big pay day, but more importantly, looking forward to seeing and competing with the fellas once again!

Went fishing on Thursday morning and had quite the day. I started at 730am and got on a few schools right away. For a good 90 minute stretch, I caught a fish on about every cast! A severe rainstorm rolled in on top of me and the bite only got better. Unfortunately I got so soaking wet and cold, I had to call it a morning. I warmed up for a few hours then went back out. Ended the day catching a hundred some bass. My thumbs have never hurt so bad 😅 not many pictures bc it was raining so hard

I was able to get out on the board this past Saturday and chase some bass. I found a pattern pretty early on that held through the entire day. Cant ask for better November fishing!

Nothing better than getting on decent bags in mid November. Not ready for the season to be over!

Here soon, I will try to begin uploading a series of videos, throughout the winter. The purpose will be to explain my thought processes, tackle, techniques, and tips, for varying seasons, patterns, lake conditions, etc!

My goal is to give back to the fishing community and share some knowledge I have learned over the years. (& to give me something to do while I await winter to end🫠)
