Tip of the Day!

Did you know if you travel with a minor and at least one parent/guardian is not going along, it’s advised to have a letter of permission from that non-travelling parent/guardian?! And while Border agents “say” it doesn’t need to be notarized, it is highly recommended that it is?! This is just an added layer of protection to ensure your minors are travelling with the people you give permission for them to travel with!

Whether you are travelling to Disney, universal, Europe, or cruises (some cruise lines also have their own permission form as part of your check in documentation to ensure that the minor has permission to be on board)…driving or flying…it’s best to check this off your list! As a trusted travel agent AND a trusted lawyer…it is better to be over-prepared than risk it and find out how traumatic it can be without the letter. (I’ve seen both scenarios - not being asked, and children being questioned when a letter was not produced)

Let’s get you out of the snow and cold weather…and travelling somewhere warm and fun! Grandparents…make those memories with your grandchildren! Aunts and uncles…be the cool relatives that take their niece or nephew to see Mickey.

I grew up going to Disney…this isn’t even the earliest photo I have from there…but what I do know is that in this moment I was so excited to meet Mickey and couldn’t believe he was going to sign my autograph book (which I also still have and use as a Disney adult)
