Spring break 2027 is already filling in. Part of March is booked at both condos, so here's what's left:

Coastal Comfort OB: Mar 12 to Mar 28
Island Pass OB: Feb 27 to Mar 6, and Mar 13 to Mar 27

If your kids' break falls in one of those windows, now is a good time to lock it in. March weather can go either way, so it helps that both buildings have a heated indoor pool and hot tub.

Both condos sleep 10, and Island Pass OB has a bunk room that sleeps up to 6.

"This is the best stocked and organized rental I have ever stayed in!" Brittany wrote that about Coastal Comfort OB, and the kitchen is a big reason why.

Keurig and drip coffee, an air fryer, a Crock-Pot, a blender, a countertop ice maker, and a full set of pots, pans and bakeware. If you're cooking Thanksgiving dinner for 10, it's already here.

We also leave out 4 beach chairs, a wagon, an umbrella and beach toys. It's about a 2-minute walk to the sand, and a blue beach mat runs from the boardwalk out onto the beach.

Coastal Comfort OB is open for the holidays:
Nov 22 to Dec 19, including Thanksgiving
Dec 23 to Jan 1, including Christmas and New Year's Eve

For anyone planning to spend part of the winter on the Gulf, here's what we still have open:

Coastal Comfort OB: Jan 1 to Feb 7
Island Pass OB: Jan 9 to Feb 13

Stays in January and February are 2 weeks or longer, and you can book any stretch of 2 weeks or more inside those windows.

What you get:
- 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, so there's room when family visits
- A full kitchen and an in-unit washer and dryer
- A heated indoor pool, hot tub and fitness center at the resort
- A Gulf view from the balcony
- Us. We own and run both condos ourselves, so you deal with us directly the whole stay

The room kids ask about first at Island Pass OB is the bunk room.

Two sets of bunk beds, each with a trundle underneath. It sleeps up to 6, which keeps the kids together and frees up the king and queen rooms for the adults.

"The bunk room was a game changer." That's from Kayla, one of our guests, and we hear some version of it a lot.

If you're planning Thanksgiving or Christmas with the whole family, Island Pass OB is open Nov 15 to Dec 27, including both holidays. Dates are check-in to check-out.

If you like live music, mark your calendar for November 5 to 15.

The 42nd Frank Brown International Songwriters' Festival brings more than 200 songwriters to over two dozen venues along the Alabama and Florida coast, centered at -Bama. You hear the songs from the people who wrote them, along with the stories behind them. Most shows are free, and a few venues charge a small cover.

Flora-Bama is a short drive from both of our condos, and both have open dates during the festival:

Island Pass OB: Nov 6 to Nov 9

Mild days, a quieter beach, and coffee on the balcony with the Gulf right in front of you. November might be the most underrated month on the coast.

Both of our condos are still open for Thanksgiving week.
