Imagine living a life free of limitations and experiencing all that life has in store for you with a renewed sense of freedom and, of course, joy. Be patient and flexible with yourself, but most importantly—be brave!

As most of you know, each year I pick a smaller foundation with a big heart that does a lot of good work. These foundations are vetted and don’t get the press some of the larger foundation can afford. I was inspired last year when I trained for Boston by a young girl with a Prosthetic who was on the team.

I was introduced to Heather Abbott foundation that provides funding and training for prosthetics for , Children, Military and others who have lost a limb due to accident, disease or other.

It is amazing how it changes the personal confidence of these individuals for a fuller confident life.

Insurance supports about $5000 and the average cost is 30,000 and more..
Heather started this foundation when she lost her own leg in the Boston bombing
