October 1971.

Walt Disney World had just opened its doors to the world — and somehow, someway, my family was there. No FastPass. No MagicBands. No smartphones to capture every second. Just a Polaroid, a dream, and a castle that took their breath away.

Look at Main Street. The streetcar on the tracks. The castle standing tall and proud against the sky. The people dressed in their Sunday best just to walk through those gates.

There’s something about old photos that hits differently. You can almost hear it — the music, the laughter, the wonder of experiencing something brand new for the very first time.

Disney has always been more than a theme park. It’s a feeling. A memory. A place that lives in your chest long after you’ve gone home. And 55 years later… that magic hasn’t gone anywhere.

Which is exactly why I became a travel advisor. 🪄
