Both rides run the same track through the same Frontierland show building. Same lift hills, same 52.5-foot drop, same 40-inch height requirement. Almost everything in between is different.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run holds a crew of six. On this flight, there was one.

We filmed the complete 4K POV experience at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disney's Hollywood Studios — the exterior of the Falcon in Black Spire Outpost, the full standby queue with no one in it, the Hondo Ohnaka pre-show, the loading corridor, and the entire ride.

This is the new Mandalorian & Grogu mission that replaced the original coaxium storyline in May 2026. Disney rebuilt the visuals on Unreal Engine 5 and added branching destinations, so where the Falcon flies now depends on the crew's choices.

Walking that queue completely empty is something most guests will never see. If you're planning a Walt Disney World trip, this shows you exactly what to expect before you ride. If you're just missing the parks, it's four and a half minutes in the cockpit with nothing between you and hyperspace.
