Character dining is probably the least relaxing experience when it comes to eating in Walt Disney World.

Not only are some of them buffet, you also as the parent have to be ready with your phone at any given moment when a character comes up all while trying to make sure your kids eat, clean up any spills and shove three bites of food in your mouth.

For the price tag, especially at Cinderella‘s royal table of $89 per person. It would be nice if we had a PhotoPass photographer to alleviate some of the stress of trying to get photos with the characters also while doing all of the other tasks I mentioned above.

The photos taken by the parents during character, dining are not candid and rushed much like the entire meal experience.

While I know Disney out as a hole is not relaxing it would be nice if something is simple as sitting down to eat your meal could be a little less stress stressful.

Nurses week and a Teacher appreciation week starts with Cinco De Mayo and ends on Florence Nightingale’s birthday.

In addition, this week falls around Mother’s Day.

Nurses and Teachers are two of the most prominent female professions and deserve all the praises

As a nurse, who also has her Masters in Nursing education, believe that it takes a special person to fill each of these roles.

Anastasia and Drizella are such a vibe!

I’ve actually never stood in line to meet them, I need to plan better!

Though, these interactions are just as fun!

The cast members who are play the part do such an amazing job of improv! They pull from their surroundings and will insult you without a second thought.

I still want to know who they think is Lucifer’s favorite. I’m keeping that question in my back pocket for when the next time I go.

Planning for your days in the parks can have a positive impact on your budget

Here are 3 things I bring with me to avoid spending money unnecessarily:

1. Bottled water $4.50 each. Heck no. Bring your own water bottle to stay hydrated and you can ask quick service stations for a free cup of ice or find a water bottle refill station
2. Ponchos. $20 each. Good grief please do not pay that! Get a pack on Amazon for $8 and keep them in your bag
3. Buying two fuel rods on Amazon before your trip is cheaper than buying them at the kiosk in the park. And you can exchange them at the fuel rod stations in the parks for free.
Save your money for things you will need such as food and shopping.

Those three things add up quickly and bringing them with you is an easier cheaper way to go.

The cost of groceries is disgusting.

Companies are also changing ingredients to cut costs while still charging more and you can tell because it tastes like chemicals. I’m looking at you Hersheys.

Since when was this allowed? Pretty sure at one point they had to alert customers with a “new ingredients same taste” banner. Guess not.

Well. This mama is learning to do stuff herself. For her family’s health and to afford to go on vacation.

This inflation is not going to stop if we keep paying for it. We have to be selective in how we want to spend our money and vacations is something I will keep in my budget until I die.

But what’s getting removed from my budget are things I’ve been paying for that I can do myself.

Who wants to start living off the land with me?

So many announcements coming from Disney and it just increases my need to book a vacation.

The 2027 booking window has opened and Disney has announced kids get 20% off the dining plan in 2027.

I have to keep my budget in line, improve my house, and still take the girls to the most magical place on Earth.

I am even more determined to do it because I was told it’s not possible.

Don’t ever tell a Capricorn this. We will make you eat your words!

For the longest time it felt like the off-season in Disney stopped existing.

This summer might be the slowest yet and here are 3 reasons why:

1. Too much construction. If it was my one and only time to do Disney, I wouldn’t pick right now. 3 parks have a ton of construction going on.
2. The cost to go to Disney is too high. $250 for park hoppers per day per person. It is costing $1000 a day for my family to go to the parks. That’s a tough pill to swallow. Yes, there are other ticket options but they also come with restrictions. Also right now Disneyland has a $50 kids park hopper ticket this summer so I could see the crowds going there
3. Epic universe will be celebrating it’s one year anniversary starting May 22nd

It might be a good time to go because the crowds will be lower. If you like the heat that is hahaha
