Day 2 Inverness Scotland. City Hall faces a limestone building with biblical inscriptions on its face. One of its mayors was disgusted with the inebriated state of his councilman so they were asked to read the inscriptions across the street, and if they could not read them because they were too drunk, he would send them home and doc their pay. The building had been renovated and they found that the dogs at the top of the building we’re missing so they asked some local artisans to make some wolf sculptures and the two men decided to have fun with it and placed grinning skulls underneath the paw of the wolves. They knew they’d be up so high no one would see them. It was their private joke until two days before they were to be installed. They actually found the dogs statues so now they sit on either side of City Hall steps and everyone can see their joke. The last picture is for all of us women who were wondering what we’re under those kilts…
