Hi there! I'm Maddie, the baker and owner of You Take the Cake Bakery! I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me and my bakery!

The dream of owning my own bakery first started way back when I was just a kid and has grown into fruition via passion and hard work.

I have a Certificate in Pastry and Baking, and experience working in lots of different kinds of bakeries, which taught me invaluable lessons.

With this experience, I've begun creating an image of what I want my bakery to be. Using things I've learned along the way and lots of hours on pinterest 😅, it is starting to come together.

I will not start with a brick and mortar bakery. Rather, I'm beginning in style with a retro inspired 1970s trailer turned mobile bakery!

I look forward to this journey with all of you and will use this page to keep you updated on You Take the Cake's progress!
