🇳🇴Norway is beautiful during summer. The flowers everywhere are particularly striking and the temperature is perfect.😍

We cruised from Kirkenes down to Bergen on a southbound Havila Voyages cruise and had a picturesque experience!

Our British Isles cruise took us to places we dreamed of going, never dreamed of going (but should have) and then some.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Like the Shetland Islands, and Lerwick. Gorgeous even with the rain. Ponies were petted, flowers admired, and beach scenes soaked in.

We spent our hour and a half in Hammerfest today seeing the town and hiking up to a beautiful viewpoint. The weather changed rapidly here from sunny to rainy, to hail, to sunny again. As Norwegians say, there is no bad weather, just poorly dressed people!

This was the view from the top of the hike up the mountain in the Arctic Circle. It’s always worth the climb!

Don’t sleep on $1 oysters 🦪 during happy hour when you are in Savannah, GA during a Sea Islands cruise aboard a coastal catamaran! We stopped by Sorry Charlies, walking distance from where the ship docked, and we loved our time there, enjoying the spring breeze from the rooftop bar.

And we still made it back to the ship in time for cocktail hour!

We don’t know why there were fireworks in the Charleston harbor the last evening of our Sea Islands coastal cruise. But we do know that the pyrotechnic gods sent them our way for a wonderful treat from our stateroom balcony to finish the trip off right!

How did they know Mikkel loves fireworks and Dan was being the best husband, as usual, to ask, “Are those fireworks I hear outside?”

Why, yes. It was! 🎆
