Have you been to Hector Wine Company on Seneca Lake recently? In 2010, a viticulturist got together with a veteran Finger Lakes wine maker to create beautiful wines representing the southeast side of Seneca Lake. Together, along with their passionate and fun-loving staff, they have distributed their wines all around the U.S.!

Recently at Rye Bar and Restaurant, we picked some of our favorites from HWC (it was a REALLY hard choice to only pick a few!) to bring a taste of Seneca Lake to our guests! We have 5 different Hector Wine Company options for you to enjoy with your dinner or Sunday brunch!

Syrah is something my friends at HWC excel in for sure..if you haven't tried some you owe it to yourself to pick some up! I will be enjoying some this evening paired with a vodka sauce meatball, red peppers & mushrooms over a nice penne pasta!

Both companies are based in Buffalo, NY and are staff favorites!

“Remember, there are people that love you!” Groups of ASMS students routinely help out at our pantry as they learn about food insecurity in our community. Among other tasks, they decorate bags to encourage our clients. This one was especially heartwarming.
