Getting excited about being at The West Virginia State Folk Festival. Just a note to all of our friends, customers and musicians. Our booth location will be at the town square this year under the pavilion. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Just a reminder that the West Virginia State Folk Festival in Glenville, WV will kick off next Thursday, June 19 at 4:00 pm and will conclude Sunday morning, June 22 at 9:00 am at the Job’s Temple church service. This is the 75th anniversary of the festival and it’s going to be a great celebration of wonderful old-time Appalachian music, as well as lots of food, activities, and exhibits of arts, crafts, and folk life. Duffield Pottery will be set up at town square. Think about coming to the Folk Festival, it is a great event! We look forward to seeing you there!

We are packing for Glenville WV, The Gathering is tomorrow. We will have a variety of pieces for sale A large assortment of mugs, bowls some of our decorative pieces. We have been so busy with every day life and getting ready for a couple of shows, ( well, I am training a two year old c**t, so that takes time) but some one said they would like to see all of the finished pieces from the glaze load that was fired with The Reed Buck. Keep in mind that our average glaze load is 50 pieces, mugs, bowls, honey pots, pitchers and so on. But the last glaze load contained those large pieces.
