Palm Beach Chic: dress code decoded!

Have you ever received an invitation that has a dress code that needs further explanation? We use the term Palm Beach Chic around here a lot. What exactly does that mean?

Palm Beach Chic is a sophisticated style embracing the bright, fun colors of Palm Beach, floral prints and having fun with your attire. From feathered sleeves to seashell handbags and men’s pink blazers to women’s vibrant color dresses, Palm Beach Chic is a style that takes ownership of the town the event is taking place in.

It is okay to go outside the box with your attire wording - there’s no rules saying you have to stick to traditional black tie or black tie optional. Lean in to your location and elevate your wedding with something fresh!

Side note: you can also add a style guide on your wedding website for further clarification!

🩵 when I showed them their reception room for the first time - I love when they get to see it all come together before their guests enter the ballroom

🩵 when the sparklers went off during their first dance

Many people ask me what is your favorite part of your job.

There’s so many things I love about what I do - being creative, meeting so many amazing couples and families and building relationships that last long after their wedding days, getting to work with insanely talented creative partners, being a leader and positive influence for my posh parties team.

But….the absolute best part for me is on the wedding day seeing everything come together. Seeing all of the hard work behind the scenes, the countless hours of dedication to this one weekend, all of the ideas from paper to reality and making one couples wedding day come to life while exceeding their expectations!

That is why I do what I do and I have so much gratitude towards all of the brides, grooms and families that put their trust in us to make it all happen!

When Melanie and Scott told us they wanted to embrace the colors of Palm Beach at their wedding, we took that one step further during their cocktail hour.

After a beautiful and colorful ceremony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, guests made their way to the Living Room at the Four Seasons for an orange 🍊 theme cocktail hour!

Fun Fact: The 🍊 is Florida’s symbol, it is an iconic symbol for Florida, culturally and agriculturally. The orange represents for Florida, the idea of, luxury, growth and health.

From the orange trees at the entrance and throughout the room to the orange es**rt cards this vibrant and colorful cocktail was such a fun way to kick off the rest of the evening. 🧡

Sophie and Zach: Wedding Day

A sophisticated and elegant wedding day filled with genuine love took place at The Breakers in Palm Beach in early January. Sophie stunned in her gown, hair and makeup by and the florals by were perfectly tailored in blush, green and white. The ceremony on the Ocean Lawn could not have been more perfect, a decision made earlier in the day to keep the ceremony outside even with the 50% chance of rain at that time. The sun even came out right before the processional was about to begin.

When took the stage the dance floor was packed all night and spun tunes in the after party which was repurposed from the cocktail hour. Friends and family raved about the band, the food and overall saying it was one of the best weddings they have been to!
