SPRING BREAK NOTICE — PINEAPPLE BEACH AREA
It has become clear that the area commonly referred to as “Pineapple Beach” has become a popular gathering location during Spring Break. Large crowds that have gathered there in the past have routinely resulted in disorderly activity and public safety concerns.
The private beach access located next to Pineapple Willy’s, between Pineapple Willy’s and Shores of Panama, is restricted at all times and is not open for public use. This access has been unlawfully used by individuals who are not authorized to use it.
During the Spring Break timeframe, this area will have increased security measures and enforcement, and access will be limited to residents and authorized temporary residents only.
Anyone using this access without permission will be considered trespassing and subject to prosecution. Parking at nearby businesses for the purpose of accessing this area will result in towing of the vehicle at the owner’s expense.
