The Utah Powder Tours team found something extraordinary in Niseko. The snow was deep and powdery, creating ideal conditions for riding beneath a clear sky where the sun cast a warm glow over the landscape. After our runs, we gathered to enjoy the rich, comforting flavor of sake alongside sushi that captured the essence of Japan’s culinary artistry. The trip was a seamless success, blending exhilarating days on the mountain with evenings of authentic enjoyment. We’ll do it again soon!

Japan Calling! Niseko 5-14 March 2025 Trip. Fly to CTS airport then take bus to Niseko Hirafu Welcome Centre.

A small group from Utah are visiting the World famous Niseko ski resort, Japan 5-14 March 2025 for the World Airlines Ski Championships, powder, sushi and sake.

We will stay at the sold out Niseko Landmark View apartments 5th to 14th March 2025 (9 nights) a 5 minute walk from the Grand Hirafu gondola, and many local restaurants and bars.
We will visit the Gentemstick showroom for tax-free snowboards. The US dollar is very strong against the Japanese yen which means your money goes further.

Cost is for twin share accommodation (2 beds per room, $900 per person for 9 nights) at the Niseko Landmark View.
Paul will be available in Niseko for help and advice for your stay in Niseko.
Airline tickets, bus travel, meals and lift tickets are all extra.
Day trip to nearby Rusutsu ski resort is an optional extra.
Niseko is an Ikon pass resort or multi-day tickets are about $70 USD a day which includes the backcountry gates at Grand Hirafu,
Hanazono and Annupuri. Return flights from LAX to CTS are $748 round trip on Expedia at the moment.

Fly to Sapporo Chitose Airport (airport code CTS) via Tokyo on the 3rd March (or earlier), arrive in CTS airport the evening of the 4th March 2025 and stay in the Airport hotel one night.
After a good nights sleep and the included buffet breakfast take the 2.5 hour Chuo bus (reservations required) on the 5th March to the Niseko Hirafu Welcome Centre, a short walk from the Niseko Landmark View.
Riding Niseko the 6th to 13th March (8 days) then check out 14th March to experience Sapporo or take the bus to the airport.
On the Friday 14th March you can join Paul on the bus to Sapporo to experience 3 nights of nightlife in the Susukino district, before flying out of CTS on Monday the 17th March 2025.
