Good morning, just a quick update. Thank you so much for all the phone calls and text messages! I have been so humbly touched and blessed that so many of you have checked in with me. I’ve been informed that some of you have used another groomer and were not satisfied with their services…my apologies, please believe that every effort is being made so I can heal quickly. Occupational therapy starts February 12. Will keep continuing to keep everyone posted on my recovery. Those that are still waiting for me …thank you so much for your continued patronage and loyalty.

Broke 3 bones …stitches came out today X-ray looks good…graduated to a metal stabilizer for the next 4 weeks …hand & finger rehab therapy 3times a week for 6 weeks …thank you to those who have reached out it has lifted my spirits…trying to recover so I can get back to all my babies I miss them !

I wanted to personally reach out and let you know about a temporary change with Pawsitively Poochie.

Unfortunately, I was involved in an accident while working with two large dogs who became startled when another dog appeared. They pulled suddenly, and I fell, resulting in my wrist being broken in two places. I’ll need to take the next month to month and a half to properly heal and recover so I can safely return to grooming at the level you and your pups deserve.

I truly appreciate your patience, kindness, and understanding during this time. I fully plan to be back once I’m cleared, and I’ll keep you updated as soon as I’m ready to begin scheduling again.

In the meantime, I am also looking to hire another groomer. If you know someone you’d recommend and they are hired, I’m happy to offer a referral award as a thank-you. Please feel free to have them contact me.

Pawsitively Poochie Mobile Grooming is closed. I am out of the country on vacation. All calls, text messages and voicemails will be returned on Sunday November 16th. Many of you may have heard about the heartbreaking story that appeared on local 10 news on August 5 involving a mobile grooming accident that resulted in the loss of a beloved emotional support animal and the groomer being hospitalized..As a groomer and lifelong dog lover my heart aches for the family as well as the groomer, and owner of the business, no words can truly capture the depth of that loss. While this tragedy did not involve me, I understand it may leave some uneasy. Please know that your trust means everything to me, and the safety and comfort of every pet I care for is my absolute top priority. This incident was sadly the result of human error. I have implemented "Additional Safety Measures" to make my already strict safety protocols even stronger to ensure that such an event will not occur. Thank you all for your continued patronage as we are 14 years strong! Please if you have questions and concerns ask, every pet session is different and individualized to your own pet.
