Over the past two months I’ve devoted time searching for availability on river cruises and guided tours for August, September, and October for this year, only to find that all are fully booked, especially for the moderately priced options. Because of this, I’ve also  looked at many different vendors in addition to my traditional preferred partners! No luck. As my clients' planning timeframe continues to shrink, It’s disappointing to me to miss potential business opportunities, and I regret that my clients aren’t able to take the trips that they decided they’re ready to do. I’ve even had a vendor require my client to pay in full and then check to see if they could squeeze them in to the tour, but even that came back without a slot, and my client was refunded. I’d love to help you plan your trips and I would love it if you’d give me a little bit more lead time, if possible. Sometimes it works out, and it’s delightful when we can book a last-minute trip but, sadly I’m finding lately that’s not the case. So let’s plan earlier and get you booked into the stateroom or the tour that you really want with availability for your pre-post options as well - and let’s not forget that the earlier you book, there’s a better chance of getting the airline seat assignment you want!
