We took a quick trip to New Orleans on the Amtrak from central MS. Train travel in the US isn’t like Europe but it can still be a pleasant experience. It’s not for those in a hurry though! For the first time we travelled in a private roomette, which included lunch. I took photos on the train, including dining car, bathroom & an empty roomette that was set up as a bed. We enjoyed some great food, & heard some great live jazz in New Orleans!
