I am sitting on the cabin steps, relishing the soothing song of the river. A little hummingbird has chosen to perch on the rail beside me. Just long enough to snap a couple of pictures, then it flew away.

First hummingbird of the season. If you love watching birds this is a great place to stay. In addition to the hummingbirds we have crows, ravens, black billed magpies, wood peckers, finches, flycatchers the list goes on and on…

It’s a beautiful spring morning at the cabin. The river is flowing and the new fishing season started yesterday. Our mating pair of Mallard ducks Molly & Drake are back, they were a little camera shy this morning. Soon the Great Blue Herons and Hummingbirds will return too. We are available year round so consider booking a stay at our beautiful cabin and experience any or all of the seasons.
