The newest episode of Travel Perks is here! 🎬

This time, Eric Perkins is exploring the Twin Cities Gateway, a collection of 11 communities packed with adventures just north of Minneapolis and St. Paul. From racing down waterslides at Bunker Beach Water Park - Anoka County Parks and digging into Texas-style BBQ at Jellybean and Julia's BBQ to sampling some of the best golf in Minnesota at TPC Twin Cities, Majestic Oaks Golf Club, and Bunker Hills Golf Club. And of course, experiencing the USA CUP at the National Sports Center, this episode proves there is a whole lot to discover in the Gateway.

Travel Perks - International Falls/Rainy Lake, Mn 📍

First, Visit Brainerd, then... Visit Red Wing, now Perk and the BlazeAir Productions crew head to International Falls (Rainy Lake) and the surrounding area (both on land and on water)!

While people may think it's just a border town, I-Falls/Rainer and Rainy Lake have so much more to offer! With Award-Winning Hotels and Distilleries - like Cantilever Distillery where Eric Perkins mayyyyy have done some sampling - and of course the world renown Voyageurs National Park and everything that has to offer - including one of the nations top Dark Skies locations and so many neat stops while traveling Rainy, like Kettle Falls (the only place in MN where you can look SOUTH into Canada) 🌌

Also, while being able to offer a lot to it's visitors, the International Falls area prides itself of being a tight-knit family-friendly town as well. All of the locals we met we're some of the most kind and generous people out there!

Plus, Perk tries catching some fish with Northern Water Excursions LLC, of course needed a coffee pick-me-up at Coffee Landing Cafe, some shopping at Border Bobs, a pic w/ the Bronko Nagurski at the Koochiching County Historical Society/Museums and so much more around town!
•
Then, after a full day in town and the miles boating on the Lake there's no better place to grab a bite to eat and relax than at Sha-Sha Resort, Minnesota on Rainy. Also, we have to say... None of this couldn't have been possible without Delaney and Katrina with Visit Rainy Lake and of course Capt. Matt Roshell 🛥

NEW EPISODE : Travel Perks - Red Wing, Mn 📍

On episode 2 of Travel Perks, Eric Perkins and the crew head to Red Wing, Minnesota for their winter Big Turn Music Fest! The "Big Turn" is one of the most unique music festivals in the state. They get EVERYONE involved. From kids clothing stores to hotels to an underground boxing gym!

Also, while in town we HAD to stop by the world famous Red Wing Shoes and Riedell Skates, and of course the one and only Hanisch Bakery and Coffee Shop 🍩
•
Perk also learns about the history of Red Wing from Mayor Mike Wilson and Councilman Don Kliewer, and speaking of history... Did you know one of the top elevator button and braille manufacturers SCS Elevator Products Inc. is located in Red Wing. Oh and did we mention history?! Perk even stayed at the iconic St. James Hotel!

From there Perk enjoyed his time fly-fishing with the locals (thanks Chase and Jayden), having a bite to eat at Hay Creek Saloon, visiting the "spots" around town and catching up with some of the local favorites (yes, you Bill Hanisch )
