Don’t fall for it!!

When you see a travel “deal” posted that seems too good to be true, take a closer look before you jump on it.

Not all travel advisors operate the same way. Unfortunately, some will advertise an incredible price to get your attention, only for you to find out once you inquire that the trip at that price is “no longer available.”

Sometimes availability really does change quickly. But when it becomes a pattern, or the advertised price was never realistically available to begin with, that’s a red flag.

A reputable travel advisor should be transparent about what the price includes, what dates and availability it is based on, and whether the pricing is actually bookable when it’s advertised.

A great deal is great. A price designed just to get you in the door is something entirely different.

Be careful who you trust with your vacation. Experience matters. Credentials matter. Reviews matter. I’m proud to have all three, and you won’t see me advertising a trip at a price I can’t actually book.

Same beach. Five days apart. 🌴

As much as I’d love to guarantee crystal-clear water and a beautiful beach, the truth is that no one can. Even when I guide clients toward destinations that don’t typically experience heavy sargassum, Mother Nature can still have other plans.

What I can do is help set realistic expectations and offer alternative ideas if beach conditions aren’t ideal, like pool days, spa time, excursions, snorkeling, shopping, local sightseeing, or visiting another beach nearby. A great vacation can still be had, even when the beach looks different than expected.

Summer has a funny way of making next year’s vacation feel very far away.
But while everyone else is focused on this summer, this is actually when the best resorts, hotels and cruises for next year are quietly disappearing.

Holiday travel, spring break, Alaska, Europe and cruises are already open for booking, and the best options are often gone months before most people even start looking.
