Why do I love to travel? I picked these pictures because they capture the reasons I love to travel.
1. I get to experience things that pictures never do justice. In Egypt, we saw so many artifacts and pieces of history that were 4,500 years old. To me, it’s mind-blowing!
2. It forces me to do things that I would normally say I can’t do. 10,000 steps before noon in the desert at 100 degrees?? I can’t do that! Except I did!!
3. I become more aware of the world - in ways that challenge me. One thing that struck me while I was in Egypt - seeing Arabic on signs made me realize that I needed to confront some misguided stereotypes that I had. It’s a beautiful language.
4. I get to relax! Life is hard - life as a single mom with 3 teenagers (-ish, one isn’t quite there but really thinks she is!) is even harder.
As a travel agent, I specialize in Disney destinations but included in that are Adventures by Disney. What I’ve learned is that many of the things I have experienced abroad are included in the Adventures by Disney trips. So whether you want to have the adventure of a lifetime, make magical memories at Disney World or Disneyland, or whether you want to meet your favorite characters aboard Disney Cruise Line - I am very willing to help curate those magical memories!
