I can tell this story now because my Clients made it to Jamaica and Back home safely lol…
The morning of her flight, while at the airport she called me because her sister realized her bame was misspelled on her Passport(Supposed to be an H but it was an N.) The airline agent would not let them check on or anything. They canceled their flight and put them on the next one the following day which was a morning flight with a layover. Told them to go to passport agency and get it fixed asap. We all know that it wouldn’t be a guarantee to get to the PP agency same day. Client was upset, it was her bday and she was ready to say F it. BUT, she had a travel agent who goes above and beyond. I called the Airline Travel Agency back office directly. Spoke to an amazing guy. He PUT THEM BACK ON THEIR ORIGINAL FLIGHT and Changed the name on the airline ticket to match the Passport and her sister just had to be an alter ego while in Jamaica 😂😂🤣🤣😂🤣.
If this was booked directly with Expedia or Cheap Carribean or whoever else people use, they would have canceled their trip and thats it. But the blessing with dealing with a travel agent, we get to talk to people who make the rules. And we get to talk to them directly.
We are officially into Summer. We have 6 months of the year left. Lets get these trips booked. Resort bookings with just a $50 deposit, Flight and resort Packages with deposits as low as $200. And Cruises with deposits as low as $50. Lets get on that Island!!
