Took a jeep tour to a chocolate museum where we were able to taste different chocolates, a rainforest where we were able to interact with some friendly mona monkeys and the highlight of my day was swimming in the Annandale waterfall! Grenada is a beautiful island and Sandals Grenada is a wonderful resort!

We had wonderful meals each night of our trip which were topped off with entertainment. Our meal at Kimonos even included some fun entertainment.

Just got back from Sandals Grenada. Had to meet certain requirements of the Grenada Ministry of Health in order to visit the island, but it was soooo worth it. It was a fantastic trip from beginning to end! Sandals Grenada is beautiful! Here is the view from our balcony. Not a bad view to wake up to every morning!

I am looking forward to seeing the Passion Play in Oberammergau. It's ironic that a play that was started because of a pandemic was cancelled because of a pandemic. The play is performed in the little town of Oberammergau in Germany almost every day from spring to fall every 10 years for the past hundreds of years. While I am surely disappointed that my trip to the Passion Play was cancelled in 2020, at least they are not making me wait another 10 years. They have postponed it until 2022, and I will be there. It sells out quick. I have 2 rooms left in the group I am going in and then that date is sold out, but other dates and tours may be available if you are interested.

To all the veterans out there; Thank you for your service.
I have been to a few memorials before, but none affected me more than going to the beaches of Normandy, seeing those endless grave markers and then going to the museum and seeing pictures and listening through the museum's audio all those young men who gave their lives for our country. Thank you!

Going through some old boxes from my mom's house. Came across these old Walt Disney World tickets from the 1970s! Pricing was $8.00 for a book of tickets including tax! One of the booklets is even older at $6 for a book of tickets. This is where the term "E ticket ride" came from. They were the best!

I've been taking some of this time to go through those old boxes that are in the "I'll go through this someday" pile. Last night I went through a bag taken from my mom's house. In it was a video I (well Timmy) had made for her after a Tulip and Windmill river cruise I had taken her on. She loved that river cruise and has said many times it was one of her favorites. At one point I had decided that mom had enough knick knacks and sweaters, so instead of buying her another, I would take her places instead. I miss you mom, but I am so thankful for the time we got to spend together.
