My view tonight. 🌴🚢

We’re staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Cape Canaveral Port, and this location could not be more convenient. The hotel is literally across the street from Terminal 3, where we board our ship tomorrow morning — no shuttle or transfer needed, just a quick walk to the terminal.

Huge bonus: they offer long-term parking that’s cheaper than parking at the port. The rooms are super clean, spacious, and that pool is AMAZING. Definitely the perfect way to start vacation mode. ☀️

Reading about the JetBlue passengers stranded overnight in St. Lucia after a bird strike is exactly why I will always recommend using a travel advisor when planning trips. A situation like this can turn stressful really fast especially when you’re in another country, the airline says the delay is “out of their control,” and suddenly you’re paying out of pocket for hotels, meals, transportation, and trying to figure everything out on your own.

Most people think travel advisors just “book vacations.” The reality is we help you prepare for the things nobody expects:
• making sure you understand travel insurance coverage
• helping you choose protection that actually covers delays and interruptions
• assisting when flights are canceled or rerouted
• helping navigate airline policies and options
• being someone you can contact when you’re stranded and overwhelmed instead of sitting on hold for hours

Travel is amazing… until something goes wrong. Then having someone in your corner suddenly matters a whole lot.
