How is your sleep health going these days? 🥱

Research shows when we don’t get enough sleep, we:
Are more impulsive
Rely less on evidence
Have an outsized expectation of gains
Care less about losses (we might even chase them)
Less empathetic and generous
More irritable and worse at managing our anger
Less resilient
More likely to feel lonely and negative toward others
And more

We all know sleep is something we need yet it's often sacrificed for work or binging a show (Mid Century Modern? The Residence?). A cup of coffee does not replace sleep.

I like to approach getting ready for sleep like a first date: I prioritize it, I take about an hour to get ready (shutting down the tech, writing down whatever is on my mind, making a plan for the following day) and try to stick to a routine bed time. Most days, I'm getting the sleep I need.

To my American friends! Time to check your license to ensure you've got your REAL-ID!
Starting May 7, 2025, every air traveler age 18 and older will need a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative identification to board domestic flights and access certain federal facilities.

What is the REAL ID Act?
Enacted in 2005, the REAL ID Act establishes minimum security standards for state-issued driver's licenses and identification cards. These standards are designed to enhance the reliability and accuracy of state-issued identification documents.

How can you identify a REAL ID-compliant license?
REAL ID-compliant licenses are typically marked with a star at the top of the card. The specific design may vary by state.

Do you need a REAL ID for cruise travel?
While a REAL ID is not required to board a cruise ship, you must still present acceptable proof of identity and citizenship, such as a valid passport or other documents as specified by the cruise line.

Is a passport still necessary if you have a REAL ID?
Yes, a valid passport is required for international air travel. A REAL ID is primarily for domestic air travel and access to certain federal facilities. For international destinations, you must carry a valid passport regardless of REAL ID possession.

My recommendation - have your REAL ID and passport up to date. It's not worth having a great trip ready to go and realizing that you don't have the legal docs 🙌

It's been a busy magical time with our groups! 👫👭👬
In November, we cruised the small Caribbean Islands on Seabourn and in February mom and I sailed to the Panama Canal on Holland America Line! ☀️
Next up for our groups: May brings us to Alaska via Silversea, and then in July we go north (way north!) to the Arctic on Atlas Ocean Voyages! 🐻‍❄️

During the pandemic I started a little side project - secret date nights in Philly for couples. While it’s not my main business, the referrals keep coming so every now and then I get to pull some magic together.
We meet and chat about what make them “them” and explore what they need as a couple.
I take all of that and craft a date night that’s a complete surprise, full of meaningful activities, charming moments and more. It’s all pretty awesome really.

For many couples the hardest thing for making time for themselves is the planning. Picking a day, a restaurant, a place to go. Ugh. It’s the worst.

I take care of all of that.

Serving the Philly area - helping couples fall that much more into love ❤️
