We have some BIG Express Pass news from Universal Orlando and, honestly, this one has me sad!

Effective July 1, 2026, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure will no longer participate in the Universal Express program. Universal is making this operational shift to improve overall guest flow and enhance the ride experience for everyone.

But in good news it’s not all changes:

🌟 The attraction will continue offering Single Rider Line access (availability is subject to daily operational considerations)
🌟 It will also remain available during Early Park Admission for eligible guests. (Early Park Admission experiences are subject to change)

This is one of the most popular (and one of my personal most favorite) Harry Potter rides. I’m sad to see it lose Express Pass access *but* I’m trusting that Universal knows what they are doing and that this change will be a good move and make the experience better for guests.

Who else is excited for Monsters Inc Land to come to Hollywood Studios??

This new section of the park will feature the first suspended coaster ever in a Disney park… inspired by the iconic door vault scene from the movie!

We will get the chance to step into the world of Mike & Sulley, stroll the streets of Monstropolis, and experience a new immersive land with rides, restaurants, characters and a whole lot of fun!

Hollywood Studios is going through such an exciting transformation right now - this is one of the projects I am most excited to see come to life

I’m spending the next few days at the Happiest Place on Earth… not just for the magic, but for some Disneyland training!

There’s always something new and exciting to learn about and I’ll be spending some time in the parks, at the resorts, learning from our amazing Disney reps, and seeing all the Disneyland magic firsthand.

So many of my repeat Disney World guests are planning trips to Disneyland this year and it’s always great to have the latest info to help them plan a magical vacation!

FUN FACT - Mickey Mouse first “officially” appeared in the animated short film Steamboat Willie but he actually first appeared earlier in two silent test cartoons — Plane Crazy and The Gallopin’ Gaucho — but those were not widely released before Steamboat Willie.

The Plane Crazy short debuted on May 15, 1928 and was created by Walt Disney and animator Ub Iwerks shortly after aviator Charles Lindbergh successfully crossed the Atlantic in 1927. The cartoon spoofed the aviation craze happening across the United States at the time. Minnie Mouse also appeared in Plane Crazy

There’s a reason I love Epcot

It’s so much more than just a park. I could spend all day there, not even go on one ride, and still have the absolute best time. The food. The culture. The innovation. It gives me all the feels no matter how often I visit.
