Up next on our Skål Philadelphia Member Spotlight is... Tashna Seaton-Small. Tashna is the Assistant General Manager at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Philadelphia. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment for hotel guests. Tashna seeks to create unique and memorable experiences for those staying at the iconic Kimpton Hotel Palomar in Philadelphia. She loves having the privilege to meet guests from all over the world and provide them with an amazing stay.

As much as Tashna has a passion for being out in front of people and caring for them, she has an appreciation for much-valued alone time, and being with her family and friends.

Tashna first heard about Skål when she returned to the city after some time away. She's glad to have been given the opportunity to be a part of our organization. Tashna hopes that by being part of our Global Network of Tourism Professionals, through Skål International Official, she can expand her network and gain insight into other areas of the industry.

We are happy to have her on board, and look forward to her continued contributions to Skål International Philadelphia!

Skål Philadelphia is happy to announce that our 2024 Board of Directors has been officially installed. We are proud to have Mariska K. Bogle step in as the new President of Skål Philadelphia, the very first African-American woman to hold this position! She is joined by Shawn Murray as Vice President, June Seminario as Secretary, Frank Klare continuing as Treasurer, Devon Johnston as Director of Communications/PR, and our Immediate Past President, Elizabeth Barber, PhD, CHE taking over as Membership Chair and our SIUSA Representative. 2024 is set to be a great year as we bring in this dynamic new group of leaders, and celebrate 70 Years of Being a Trusted Voice for Travel and Tourism in the Philadelphia region.

We are also joined by Greg DeShields, CHE, CDE, Don Gable, Christopher Guidone, and Tanya DeShields-Marant on the board. A big thank you to Casey Deacon and the HGI Team for helping to make last night’s momentous evening a success.
