I've had a lot of new followers recently so let me reintroduce myself. My name is Angela Gougler. I am your local sourdough dealer. I own a registered cottage bakery in my home called Crunchy Mama Sourdough.
I have lived in the White Mountains since 2002, 24 years. I moved to Vernon from Las Vegas at 15 years old, talk about a culture shock. I just fell in love with the clean mountain air, slower pace and small community. I have lived all over the mountain from Pinetop to Show Low. After I got married we purchased a big home in Vernon in 2012. Planning to start a family and live the dream.
Unfortunately we struggled with infertility for 8 years before we were finally blessed with our amazing son. After he was born, I again was blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom. We joined Mom's Club of the White Mountains, my son and I made a lot of great friends.
I have alway been a very health conscious person. Eating organic, taking supplements, making and drinking kombucha, gardening, using essential oils for everything, spending as much time as possible in the woods and just all around crunchy. 😂
Then sourdough entered my life. Another mom from mom's club gave me a starter. I actually told her no, I wasn't interested. She slipped it in my purse anyway. Then sourdough took over. I was gifting it to neighbors and friends and everyone loved it. A few friends said I should sell it. So I tried a little farmers market last summer. People loved it. So I kept making it and participating in the market. I soon had a small following. Selling out every week. Things took off, I was asked to sell in a store and then another and so on. I couldn't be anymore grateful. I love what I do.
Ingredients are very important to me. I try my best to use the highest quality and organic ingredients. With God amazing things are possible. I am living my dream because of your support. Thank you.
