I don’t need birthday parties… just a birthday cruise 🥂

We just spent an incredible week sailing through Alaska aboard the newly renewed Celebrity Cruises Solstice, and it completely exceeded our expectations.

Experiencing places like Icy Strait Point, Hubbard Glacier, Juneau, and Ketchikan felt even more magical in person than we imagined. We spotted orcas sailing away from Vancouver, watched wildlife from our balcony, cruised past massive glaciers, and spent our days surrounded by mountains, icy blue water, and unreal scenery everywhere we looked.

One of my favorite parts was how effortless the whole trip felt. We unpacked once, woke up to a new view every morning, enjoyed amazing meals onboard, and truly slowed down for the week 🤍

Now I completely understand why so many people fall in love with Alaska.

One of the most underrated parts of planning a trip?
How easy it is to get around once you’re there.

Because great transit can completely change the experience.

When a destination is well-connected, everything feels easier. You can move spontaneously, see more, and spend less time worrying about logistics—and more time actually enjoying the trip.

It’s something I think about a lot when planning for clients. The right destination can make everything feel seamless, especially if you don’t want to deal with renting a car.
