🚨 Spirit Airlines has officially shut down…and if you have travel booked with them, here’s what you need to know.

Spirit announced the immediate wind down of all operations. All flights are cancelled and customer service is no longer available. If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be processed automatically to your original payment method.

🤔 Now what?

A few airlines are stepping up with rescue fares:

✈️ Delta is offering reduced fares for the next 5 days on routes where Spirit operated…domestic and Latin America included. These can be found on their website.
✈️ Southwest has special fares available, but you have to book at the airport ticket counter. That window closes Wednesday, May 6 at 11:59pm CDT.
✈️ JetBlue is also helping displaced travelers. Visit jetblue.com/travel-alerts for options.
