⭐️ I’m so excited to share that I’ve been chosen to return to one of my favorite events of 2025 - as an Ambassador for GTM North America 2026. GTM is one of the most impactful networking events in our industry, taking place in early July in Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, FL.

🌎 GTM is all about meaningful connections - with suppliers, peers, and leaders from around the world - and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of something that continues to elevate how we serve our clients, and support one another as professionals. The amount of information I brought back to our team last year was incredible, and I cannot wait to return and not only gain additional knowledge and connections, but help the attendees make the most of their time at this amazing event!

🥂 After an incredible anniversary dinner last night with my hubby (locals - go check out - you won’t be disappointed), I am beyond grateful to be out of the office attending the elite GTM North America in Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, FL. As a top-producing travel advisor who now leads a team as Director, I was chosen to attend from the hundreds of applications that were received for a limited number of spots.

🌎 It’s crucial for me to meet with destinations, cruise lines, tour operators, hotels and more, so that I have all the knowledge necessary to plan dream vacations for my clients.

📧 For my clients - During the event I will have email and phone access on an intermittent basis and will reply as soon as possible. Following this, we’re headed to our family’s beach week in the Outer Banks, so I’ll be fully back in the office on July 21. As always, if it’s an emergency, I’ll be back in touch quickly. Otherwise, I may reply after returning to the office.

🌎 When you work in the travel industry, change is inevitable and after five years of servicing my clients’ memory-making adventures, it’s time for an exciting pivot!

✈️ I am pleased to announce that I have accepted the role of Director of Operations and Travel Advisor Development with FG Luxury Travel and Favorite Grampy Travels. In this position, I will be working to streamline our operations, develop and grow our industry partnerships, and support the growth and development of our amazing team!

🤔 So what does this mean going forward?

🏝️ If you are currently my client with a trip coming up, nothing changes as I’m going to continue to service your reservation until your safe return home.

🏰If we are working through proposals together already, nothing changes. I will be here for you every step of the way, including during your trip.

🏔️ If you would like to tell your family member, neighbor, coworker, etc about working with me on their trip, please do! If I’m unable to assist, I will partner them up with one of the incredible Concierge Travel Advisors on our team.

I am so excited for this new chapter and the opportunities ahead! Time for a new adventure! 🧭

🇭🇷 Croatia Charter with Day 4️⃣ - I’m getting behind because I’m trying so hard to be present and enjoy every sight, every special stop, every single thing.

Day 4️⃣ started with another swim stop, followed by docking a little early at Stari Grad so we had time to enjoy the town before a traditional Hora Peka dinner at a farm to table location about 15 min from the port. The word peka comes from peći, which means to roast or bake. When they say peka in Croatia, they mean two things - A roast meal of either meat or seafood with potatoes and assorted veggies, and peka also refers to a bell-shaped lid (usually steel or cast iron) that sits on top of a tray with food. This meal takes about 4 hours to prepare and to host meals on the farm where food is grown and raised made it such an authentic and special experience.

🇭🇷 Croatia Charter with Day 3️⃣ - While our original itinerary was set for a swim stop, lunch, and Vis, the crew decided it would be better for us to swap Vis for an island called Hvar. Once we docked and headed into town, we were met with even more cute cobblestone alleys, artisan shops, and the freshest ingredients for our delicious meal and gelato!

Hvar was hosting a traditional Catholic processional through the streets to collect everyone for mass, and on the complete flipside is hosting a Spartan Race later this weekend! I was even able to pick up some European goodies for Carlos that reminded him of growing up in Portugal.

🇭🇷 Croatia Day 2️⃣ with - Part 2️⃣ - We docked on the island of Korcula, which is a 14th Century BC island that is believed to be the birthplace of Marco Polo, for the evening. We wandered the cobblestone streets, took in the incredible sights, and visited one of the most popular rooftop bars on the island called Massimo. 🍹 This bar is atop a castle turret and you have to climb a ladder through a small hole to enjoy. The drinks are ordered by the server yelling down to his colleagues, and they’re delivered in a basket on a dumb waiter. We enjoyed dinner on another rooftop terrace with homemade pasta and all fresh ingredients, which was easily the best pasta I’ve ever had! Watching the sunset 🌅 was the perfect end to our first exploration day!

🇭🇷 Croatia Charter Day 2️⃣ - This needs broken into two parts because there was just so much to take in! We started out with an early morning stop at Mljet National Park. This incredible slice of nature is over 20 square miles with multiple lakes, walking, hiking, and biking trails, kayak rentals, and swim spots. You can take a ferry to Saint Mary’s Island in the middle of one of the lakes to visit an old Monastery, or simply wander around by foot and jump in the lake whenever you get too warm. The NP is unlike so many of our parks at home because the people respect it. There’s no garbage thrown about, no graffiti or damage - just pure, seemingly untouched beauty.

🥙 Following a two-hour hike around the park, we headed back to the Lastavica and had a 4-course, incredible lunch, including salad, egg rolls, beef roast, and cheesecake! It’s safe to say that we are not going hungry. And by the time lunch wrapped up, we had almost docked at our next location, Korcula!

🇭🇷 Today, we boarded the Lastivica for a private charter with a group of ladies from The to learn more about brand, their incredible charter itineraries, and of course, the gorgeous country of Croatia! We boarded the ship around 11am and by noon, I think I had taken about 500 photos. Everywhere I look, there’s something incredible, and as we sailed away, we somehow found even more beautiful water and sights!

🥘 Our welcome dinner tonight made us realize that we won’t be going hungry this week, and the fact that we get to stop daily to explore the islands and port cities of this gorgeous country is beyond crazy to me! I cannot wait to bring you all along! ❤️
