I went on a solo trip to take advantage of calm day on erie and scoped some fish! Man that was fun!! I dont know how many I caught but it sure was a lot!!. I fished 75 ft of water. Using a Rapala Crush City Mooch Minnow 3.5" and a 3/4oz VMC Moon eye jig in voodoo haze color.

We tore outta Conneaut ohio this morning with the boat loaded with a bunch of guys ready to catch some fish and made our way north... way north... it took us an hour to get to where we needed to be and it didnt take long at all!!! 7 limits in 2 passes!!! It was a blast!! Spoons on dipsys did the all the work.

Yesterday out of Conneaut my man Chico had his buddy in from Nebraska and he was given the full spectrum of lake erie. We headed out around noon in 1ft chop. With a snap of a finger she blew 20mph poured down rain and started building 3-5s. We ran Bandits and boards 120 - 80ft back. It didnt matter the color. They were chewing!!!

I love starting the season out with my favorite clients!!! Headed out of Conneaut around noon to take a look around and it didn’t take long.... great quality fish. We had multiple doubles and 5er on at once!!!
