Just a few pics of our area. We were not alone as several other popular beach front homes were claimed by the sea, Davey Jones’s Locker as it be….if you pray, please say a prayer for those impacted.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this devastating storm. We are gutted to say that Driftwood Cottage did not survive. We don’t know where we will go from here. We love this island and our guests and will keep you informed in the coming months.

The storm came and went and very little actual damage occurred to the house or property. We didn’t make it out unscathed but got the most part she made it. Upgrade to the main bedroom with French doors that open up to the patio and the awesome view of the Gulf and sunsets, perfect for those cool days in spring and fall to just read a book while sitting on the bed with the doors open. Then come back from the beach and rinse off in the upgraded Surfboard shower with body jets!!!
