Weekend recap.
Saturday we fished the event. This event got over 90 veterans out on the water for a day of fishing and camaraderie. What an awesome experience being able to get veterans out fishing, and hearing their stories. We had the privilege of having out Walt and Kerri. We were able to get on some larger class fish with the biggest going 46”. What a memorable day. Big thanks to for hosting this event.

Sunday morning we had Jessie and his daughter. Bait was easy to get, and we started off looking for some larger fish. Unfortunately they didn’t want to cooperate so we switched gears and search around for some keeper fish. Was able to find some meat for the table before we had to pack it in.

For the afternoon trip we had out Erin with her son Ezra and friends Johnny and Anthony. Fishing was extremely tuff for us. We worked very hard searching for bites with not much to show for it. We dropped a few fish and watched a few chase our baits around but it never materialized. The boys fished hard all afternoon, and they will be rewarded for it next time out! 5/11 PM - Had out Kieth and his family this afternoon. Bounced around a lot picking a fish here and a fish there. One of our toughest days of the season but was able to put a decent catch together and send them home with some meat. Fun day, thanks for coming out!

Had Doug and the boys out for a morning of bassing. Took a little bit to get the bait but got what we needed and started searching. Found a nice pile of fish and had hot and heaving fishing but it quickly fizzled out into a pick when we lost the tide. Thanks for coming out guys!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! Friday we had out Max with his father and buddy’s. Had a steady pick of fish boxing our limit and releasing some overs all on live bait. Solid fishing with a great crew. Thanks for coming out guys!

Dates remain available for bass charter.
Had out Elliot and family for their annual trip. Bait wasn’t easy to make today, but was well worth it. Made 30 pieces and went to work. Smoked them first two drifts till we ran out of bait. Fished Shad’s and spoons for the rest of the morning till the wind came up then called it early. Great trip, thanks for coming out guys!

Yesterday we had out Ken and his crew for an afternoon of bass fishing. Wind blew way harder then was forecasted so conditions were less then ideal, but we were still able to put a nice catch together and send the guys home with some meat. Dates still remain for charter.
